I think my washing machine heard me typing my previous post, because it has now stopped working entirely.  Shoot.

…that I haven’t been absent from the blog for four months.  Here’s the summary:  School.  Work.  Sleep.  Repeat.  I’m currently halfway through Nursing 3 and just keeping my eyes on the prize.  Molly had ear surgery (she’s fine now).  Jake had his turn at being sick (he’s fine now).  I (fingers crossed, knock on wood, throwing salt over my left shoulder) have not been sick.  Got my flu shot yesterday.  Got new couches!  Wedding planning is coming along, not much to report.  Washer stopped working Thursday, so we rigged it:

The tab thingy on the lid that is supposed to activate the machine no longer works.  No idea why, but a screw taped to the tab seems to work just right for now.  Kudos to Adam for the idea, I was ready to go after this thing like the fax machine in Office Space and get a new one.

So even though I’m rambling, at least I posted.  I’ve spent the last four months thinking “I should post… but I have nothing to say” so I just figured I’d go for it.  Now that I broke the ice, I’m going to try to post at least once or twice a week, just to keep in touch and keep up the habit.  Something more interesting than my DIY washer repair next time, I hope.
