Doctors Without Borders was already in Haiti providing medical care when the earthquake hit.  Now they are not only trying to help treat the many thousands of killed and wounded, many of them were killed or wounded as well.  The Yarn Harlot is a lot more eloquent than I am, but I wanted to spread the word.
